Single sign-on and fine-grained access control
Built as a junior: SAML login because NIS2 forced us, then a named permission for every endpoint, grouped into roles like Operator, Driver and Admin.

At work: Spring Boot, React/TypeScript, AWS and DevOps side that keeps the app running. After hours: Linux internals, KVM and Wayland tooling, playing with AWS. I just like to build systems, found it interesting, gives you full control.

React 18 → 19, MUI 5 → 9, React Router 6 → 7, TypeScript 5 → 6, ESLint 8 → 9: about 20 major upgrades in one go, with 10 outdated packages dropped or replaced along the way.

Aside from programming, I help run the test and production environments: EC2 infrastructure in Terraform, containerized services on Docker and Kubernetes, deployments through Jenkins, daily maintenance and data fixes, and looking for bugs in Graylog and Grafana. Plus a Jira Service Management portal for company-wide internal requests.
Things I built
I'm David Bali, ShiroYasha online. I'm a backend-leaning full-stack developer in Budapest, on a team of four, working across Spring Boot services, React/TypeScript frontends and AWS. I like building a feature from the schema to the screen.
After hours I like to tune Linux: KVM and GPU passthrough, Wayland tooling, homelab in progress with OPNsense and PI-hole. Security is next on the list.
